Is it a coffee or a cocktail? If you have never plucked the courage to order an Irish Coffee, here is a simple recipe to follow, allowing you to make this delicious brew for yourself.

Recipe for Irish Coffee

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of fresh coffee
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 100ml of Irish whiskey
  • Heavy cream- whipped

Preparation Method

  1. Start by warming your chosen mug.
  2. Ideally using fresh coffee, fill the mug until it is ¾ full before adding the sugar into the mug and stirring until it all has been dissolved. .
  3. Pour the Irish whiskey into the coffee before giving it a quick stir.
  4. With the heavy cream that you have lightly whipped, gently pour the cream onto the coffee using a back of a spoon to give it a frothy head.
