Chocolate Kellogg’s Cornflake Cakes

Have some fun with all of the family making these easy cornflake cupcakes – perfect for bake sales or a chocolaty treat!

Recipe for Chocolate Kellogg’s Cornflake Cakes

Ingredients

50g butter

100g of milk or dark chocolate, broken into chunks

3tbsp golden syrup

100g Kellogg’s cornflakes

1 bag of mini eggs to decorate (optional)

Preparation Method

  1. Weigh all your ingredients.
  2. Put 50g butter, 100g of milk or dark chocolate and 3tbps of golden syrup into a saucepan or microwavable bowl.
  3. Put 100g Kellogg’s cornflakes into another bowl.
  4. Melt the butter, chocolate and golden syrup in the saucepan over a low heat or briefly in the microwave.
  5. Pour melted chocolate mixture all over the cornflakes and mix!
  6. Arrange 12 cupcake cases and spoon the mixture evenly into them.
  7. Finally put in the fridge to set.
