We are extremely proud to announce that we are finalists for a further three categories in the Excellence in Housewares Awards, which are taking place on the 6th October at The Royal Lancaster Hotel, Hyde Park, London.
Widely regarded and recognised as the ‘Oscars’ for the housewares sector, the awards shine the spotlight on both retailers for their retailing excellence as well as suppliers for their product innovation and service acumen. The awards include: Retailer Awards for retailers of housewares products, Product Awards for new ranges or new individual products, and Special Awards for service, marketing, innovation, iconic products and honorary achievement.
To make it as finalists in five of these awards this year is an amazing achievement and we would like to say again a massive thank you to everyone that has voted for us.
Below are the five categories that we have been shortlisted for:
Product Awards
Cutting Edge Award: For our Forest and Forge range of knives. Nature, technology and supreme craftsmanship meet in this exquisite range of Sheffield-made wood handled knives. Our knife handles are made with English native hardwood (beech, ash, cherry and horse chestnut) from managed woodlands from a small area near Malton in North Yorkshire.
The Licensing Award: For our Morris & Co Strawberry Thief textiles range with our amazing partner Sanderson Design Group. The Morris & Co identity has been developed from the original branding of William Morris’s company that he founded in 1861. The famous designs have been revamped with modern colours schemes and fashion trends in mind whilst maintaining the authenticity of the original designs.
